About Me
Alexandra Weaverling, PhD
Licensed Clinical Psychologist CA PSY#35074
Alexandra is skilled in helping you to create lasting change. Her approach is gentle and empowering, creating a space to explore the different parts of yourself and move past long standing patterns. Drawing on her expertise in Jungian and psychoanalytic therapies, along with intensive training in DBT and years of experience in yoga and meditation, she understands firsthand how to become more grounded and confident, even in the face of stress, anxiety, or trauma.
When I’m not seeing clients… I’m at the beach, hiking, enjoying matcha, playing around with music and art, exploring spiritual traditions.
Work with me if… you’re a woman who is ambitious, sensitive, and self-aware; you’ve been in therapy before and want a more in depth approach; you know the coping skills but something is still missing; you have a sense of your own inner power and are ready for support to show up fully in your life. My therapy style resonates with those drawn to in-depth, symbolic, unconscious, and empowering feminist perspectives.
